Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur is located on the Thrissur - Palakkad National Highway 544, about 12 km from Thrissur.

How to reach:

  • From Thrissur Railway Station or Thrissur KSRTC Bus Stand to the Venue: 12 km

(Please note that these two are quite close to each other)

> Board a Bus towards Palakkad and get down at Thottapadi

> Board a Peechi Dam Private Bus from Shakthan Bus Stand and get down at Thottapadi

> Autorickshaws and Taxis may also be rented. Prepaid auto-rickshaw service is available from Railway station.

Note: Please note that Trichur is a city with Uber services and the University is within the service area.

  • From Nedumbassery (Cochin) Airport: 55 km

> Take a Pre-Paid Taxi from the Airport. Byepass Thrissur to reach Mannuthy and then proceed further along the NH 47 to reach the Kerala Agricultural University Main Campus, Vellanikkara

> KURTC operates air-conditioned low floor bus services between Airport and Trichur. Kindly contact http://www.kurtcbooking.com  for advance booking. These buses drop you at KSRTC bus stand.

  • From Coimbatore: 110 km

> Board a Thrissur bus.  Please note that the Kerala Agricultural University Main Campus, Vellanikkara is 12 km before reaching Thrissur. You may get down at Thottapadi, but if the bus does not stop there, get down at Mannuthy.

 

Organisers will be operating transportation from the KSRTC bus stand /Railway station to the University at regular intervals on 18 December evening and 19 December morning.

From the University premises you may be guided to your place of accommodation as well.
